Hello from Sue & David.
Welcome to The Bunney, Butlocks Heath (Netley Abbey), Southampton, Hampshire.
The new look The Bunney is replacing the old version after four years. There have been a few changes and some ideas retained. But hopefully the new version is a bit brighter and equally as informative. I have included a little more history about Butlocks Heath and Netley.
2011: We are pleased to announce that The Bunney had 77% occupancy for 2011 and we thank all our visitors for their support.
Butlocks Heath News:
The Cottage: Quiz Night every Wednesday evening at 20:30 and Meat Draw every Sunday at 14:30. Also Folk Music every 2nd Thursday of the month. As our first anniversary creeps towards us we are now starting work on the kitchen and anticipate that some time in February we will be producing some excellent pub fare.

January: Found a 1/3 Pint glass milk bottle that would have been used at the old Butlocks Heath County Primary School. It was made for South Coast Daries and is possibly 30 years old.
November projects:
1 - Replaced shoe cupboard.
October projects:
1 - Refurbished our bathroom following damage to the vanity basin. The project was to remove the built in cabinet containing the basin and alter the blumbing as necessary. Replacing with a modern angular design made from high gloss poly marble and mounted on a high gloss white vanity cabinet.
2 - Removal of the wall cabinet above the basin and replaced with a circular pivoting mirror.
3 - The ceiling light fitting was changed and now brighter lighting to the bathroom has been achieved.
4 - The Pull cord for that fitting was removed and a new switch was added to the landing wall outside, to enable easier use.
5 - A wall light is now in place on the back wall of the property to enable our visitor's additional lighting when using the patio area.
6 - Replaced the faulty 10 year old shower pump, so back to full pressure.
These few changes have been projects on the back-boiler and help to raise The Bunney's profile.
